Sales & Marketing Tips for Garment Decoration.

The Back to School webinar series wrapped up on Tuesday Aug 25 with an overview of some sales and marketing tips from Mel Meibers and Patrick Boyle.

The 3 keys to selling and marketing we came up with are

-Know your merchandise:  Keep with up new products form your vendors and new trends in the industry

-Know your customer: Knowing what specific groups might have specific needs and which of your products or services can meet those needs.

-Know yourself: Attain the highest level of confidence in your selling, your product, and your reputation.  Customers don’t always buy on price alone.  Quality products and services, and how comfortable people feel ordering from you goes an awful long way!

“If the timing not right for them, ask for permission to check back with them and the FOLLOW THROUGH with what you said”

“Nobody likes to be sold.  Offer a number of choices so they can purchase on their own”

“Ask for the sale…Would you like to move forward with this choice or would you prefer one of the other selections?”
